3 Tips to help you stay on track this holiday season

The Holidays are here!!

We take some time off. Relax and spend time with our loved ones. And as always, we are offered some Christmas goodies! Cake, cookies, pudding, you name it and someone’s bound to be making it.

“Oh but, I’ve gotta stick to my program”
“I can’t eat that because it’s not in my nutrition plan”

Stop.

Give yourself a break. You’re allowed to enjoy food as well…

But let’s not get carried away shall we…

Here are 3 tips that will help you stay on track this holiday season.

Tip 1

If you’re going to eat it, enjoy it.

Don’t feel bad and guilty for eating some chocolate. It’s not the end of the world. But be conscious of how much and how often you are indulging. Plan your indulgences. You’re in control. Know when you’re going to have some of that delicious Christmas cake, and enjoy it when you do. Our MP nutrition program teaches you how to plan your meals so that you’ll always enjoy food!

Tip 2

Tell your friends and family about the training and nutrition habits you have adopted over the year.

Having them on board with your fitness goals will help you stay accountable for your food choices. Cook a meal for them, or bring them to one of your training sessions to show them what you actually do and how you stay fit and lean.

Tip 3

Stay active.

You don’t have to be going to the gym or to that regular fitness class, but stay active. Play with the kids, go for a hike, cycle, jog or swim with some friends, or simply perform one of our metabolically precise ICE sessions which involves ZERO equipment and takes only 15 minutes.

There you have it. 3 tips to help you stay on track this holidays. Stay safe and have an awesome time!
